Practical Joke #8
"Leaving a Message"
This one will take quite a while and needs quite a lot of people but it is a reasonably funny practical joke.
What you need:
Half a day
A few volounteers
A mobile phone for each volounteer
A victim and their phone number
Difficulty Rating: 4/10
Choose a victim and get together some people. About every twenty minutes phone the victim (each time with a different phone) and say "Is this Joe Bloggs" You can change Joe Bloggs to any name you like. At last at the end of the day you make the last phone call to the victim and say "Hi! This is Joe Bloggs, do you have any messages for me?" Your victim will be a bit embarrassed and won't know what to say!
Important note: Do not phone on schedule your victim may work it out.

"Full Blast CD Trick"
You need:
A victim
A CD
Difficulty Rating: 1/10
This is a good simple trick to play in an office. You will probably only get to do it once on a person as after the joke they will most certainly check the sound setting before they turn their CD player online.
Find a CD that your victim likes but other people would be ashammed to own. When they leave their desk put the CD in their CD-Rom, then turn up the sound to full!
You will probably want to have the CD on auto-play.
Now your victim will be so embarrased because the whole office heard the awful music!

"Plastic Wrap Toilet Prank"
Disgusting but funny, here is how to do the next practical joke:
What you need: Clear Plastic Wrap
Difficulty Rating: 3/10
This is a disgusting classic practical joke. It is very embarrasing for the victim.
Take a large sheet of plastic wrap and cover the bowl of the toilet. You will probably want to put this on both sets of "seats". Layer it side to side NOT up to down as the victim will most likely not see it.
Your victim will go on do their "buisness" in the toilet most certainly not noticing the plastic wrap. They go to flush the toilet and it flushes, but their "buisness" is still in the toilet. They relise they have been tricked and are probably very angry! Warning: Your victim may make you dispose of the plastic wrap!!

It is breakfast time, the victim goes to get their toast from the toaster but it is burnt! They are not happy.
What you need:
A victim
A few seconds with the victim looking away from the toaster
Difficulty Rating:
3/10
Your victim puts the bread in the toaster, then they will probably go do something else while the bread is toasting. You go to the toaster and turn the dile which controls how burnt the toast is, put it to maximum (10), then leave the toaster. When you hear the toast pop up quickly and quietly go to the toaster and put the dial back to where the victim had it. The victim will collect their toast and probably get mad!

"Jelly Juice"
You need:
An empty juice bottle
Some jelly cubes
A victim
A few hours
Difficulty Rating: 5/10
You go to your victim and ask if they would like a drink. Say something like you made it yourself or used the SodaStream. They will take the "drink" and try to drink it but it is stuck! They can't understand why the drink doesn't come out!
Before you go to bed get an empty juice bottle and jelly cubes, you have to make the jelly liquid, ask an adult to help with the hot water. After you have melted the jelly cubes and poured in the cold water put your mixture in the empty juice bottle, leave it to set overnight in the fridge.
When you wake up, make sure the jelly has set in the bottle. If it hasn't give it another few hours in the fridge. When it has set you can go to your victim and ask would they like a drink, they go to drink it but nothing comes out!
Note: If you asked an adult to help with the jelly then do not plan to play this practical joke on the adult, you must find another victim. Only do this with an adults help and supervision. Ask if you are allowed to use the jelly cubes before you use them.

You need:

2 Straws
A pin
Difficulty Rating: 1/10
Your victim would really like a nice cold drink, you get them their drink with a straw in it.They try to suck out of the straw but they don't get anything. None of the drink comes up by the straw. Here is what you do:
Get 1 or 2 straws, preferbly 2 so if your victim asks for another straw you can give them it. Put 2 small holes at the very bottom and very top of the straws using the pin. This will stop the drink coming up by the straw. Pour your victim a drink and put 1 straw in the drink. If your victim asks for a different straw because the first didn't work then give your victim the other straw that you put 2 small holes in.
This will really annoy them when they are thirsty!

A money note (£5, £10 etc.)
Some fishing line
A bush or tree to hide behind
Difficulty Rating: 7/10
The victim is walking down the street. They continue walking until they get to a point where they can see a note in the middle of the footpath. They think it is money, but it is a distance away from the victim. When they get closer they know that they were right and there really is money in the street, and maybe even think about what to buy!
Put a SMALL hole in the note and thread some fishing line through it. Make sure you know the area where your victim will be walking and you know a place to hide there.
The victim gets to the note and bends down to pick it up, but just before they lift it, it goes further up the street. This is the practical joke that will leave your victim chasing money, as you are the one making it go further up the street! But you must stay hidden behind a bush or tree.
